J.D., it's quite noble of you to call Kathleen a bag lady. I would have gone for crippled, fat old man myself. There's a reason she was Chandler Bing's father in Friends.
I'm guessing she's in this movie because the casting director felt sorry for her when she auditioned for the role as the dog?
Rheumatoid Arthritis can and often times lands people in wheel chairs. I don't think working out was the first thing on her mind in the morning, but was her thoughts were probably more like conquering her disabling disease. I can't believe you people. I admire her for fighting the disease and for making her comeback in movies. Welcome back, Kathleen!
if you have arthritis then its ok to be large marge? Not working out doesn't mean you become 300lbs. Well maybe in the US. Whenever I went to RU I would come back and be in shock. EVERYONE's so freaking fat here. Some of that is the marketing of food probably but I would guess they market food everywhere.
Oh and all that extra weight has to be good on her joints too! Dont Drs tell people to lose weight or is that not P/C now?
She portrayed the dog trainer as a favor to the director...and requested a wig to look like it had been permed multiple, multiple times. Also, you haven't obviously seen a recent picture of her...she's NOT overweight at all and, in fact, looks very good. Check out the photos in the NYTimes of her and her daughter serving Thanksgiving meals to seniors. Wish I looked that good!!!

That's a damn good question.
Here's a more important one tho: why does she look like a homeless bag lady instead of Kathleen Turner?

I miss the old Kathleen. Serial Mom FTW.
She has Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) (a chronic, progressive and disabling auto-immune disease). You douche bags.
