Hopefully she'll start getting some really, really good roles in better movies.Roberthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06228551523749418972noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21707901.post-55222807331893492592010-01-17T21:34:43.887+00:002010-01-17T21:34:43.887+00:00I liked the films much more than you did and absol...I liked the films much more than you did and absolutely loved Leslie Mann in both.

Mann is wonderful in Funny People. There is this scene where she shows Adam Sandler's character a video of her daughter performing "Memory" and Sandler's character, being the douche he is, is checking his cell phone. That look on her face just makes you understand why she can never destroy the family she has just to be with the guy she's always loved.

Her scene with Eric Bana at the airport is incredibly touching. They're both in the wrong, but they're still married to each other.

She's a lovely comedic--and perhaps even dramatic--talent, nepotism or not (we all know that nepotism could go wrong in so many ways), and I hope to see more from her in the future.Marcyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03026474177609894679noreply@blogger.com
